Garry Strange is the Bioresources and Energy Strategy Manager at Thames Water and is responsible for developing their long term energy from waste plans, and bioresources strategy including future market opportunities.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and has worked in the water industry for over 20 years. He has held various roles including design and project management of several significant renewable energy schemes, wastewater and sludge treatment projects. His current focus is building a strategy for bioresources, including plans for PR24 and ensuring that Thames Water has an innovative, resilient and efficient bioresource business into the future.
In addition to his role with Thames Water he is a Director of the not-for-profit company Assured Biosolids Ltd, which is responsible for operating the Biosolids Assurance Scheme promoting safe and sustainable recycling of sewage sludge containing biosolids to agriculture.
