Jacqueline de Jong is the customer innovation manager at Vitens. Vitens is the largest drinking water company in The Netherlands and delivers top quality drinking water to 5.6 million people and companies. Jacqueline is responsible for strategic direction in the field of customer service, digitalization and sustainable water usage on household customers. She leads multiple innovation projects where she strives to improve the services for Vitens’ customers to the level of perfection by adopting new technology and encouraging digital development. An area of special interest is her work on smart metering, this new technology is of pivotal importance to Vitens and the future of sustainable water. Jacqueline has a crucial role in implementing the customer service and water savings through customer engagement of smart meter implementation. Prior to joining Vitens Jacqueline has been the Innovation Specialist at a large health insurance company in the Netherlands and was responsible for digital and technology related innovations. Jacqueline has a MSc in Business Development and a BSc in Industrial product design.
