Gerard has worked with organisations of all sizes to manage innovation programs, build new propositions, enhance business models, and deliver real revenue growth. He has broad experience across a dozen industries. He has twenty-five years’ experience in innovation in both consulting and industry roles, an MBA with distinction and a degree in electronic engineering. Clients over the past 10 years include E.ON, ESB, Johnson Matthey, Umicore, Rentokil Initial and L&G. Before starting his own consulting business (3inno.com) in 2013, he held senior roles at two innovation and growth consultancies in London and had a long career in R&D. He wrote the Ebook Innovation Unplugged and was a featured guest on the RTE Innovation Show. Originally from Dublin, Gerard lives in central Brighton where he is actively involved in supporting innovation, as a visiting lecturer on innovation management for the University of Brighton’s MBA course, mentoring young entrepreneurs at Brighton College, and establishing the Brighton Innovation Network.
