Bio:

Clair has a PhD in water treatment from Strathclyde University and achieved chartered scientist status through the Institute of Water in 2014. She joined Anglian Water in 1997 and carried out a number of scientific roles in both drinking water and wastewater as part of a graduate scheme. Her first permanent role with Anglian Water was in 2000 and she has carried out a number of reactive and proactive roles within the scientific team since that time. Her current role is Head of Water Quality, leading a team of scientists and inspectors working on all aspects of drinking water quality including risk management, policy and strategy and regulation.
